Congratulations!

Sara Chicoine has successfully completed all training requirements and earned her Certificate of Completion from the VT Department of Labor for the trade of Child Care Development Specialist in May 2005!

Addison County Parent/Child Center remains active as a Sponsor for registered Apprenticeship.

The mission of the Addison County Parent/Child Center (ACPCC) to provide support and education to families and assure our community is one in which all young children get off to the right start, with the opportunity to grow up healthy, happy and productive.

Apprentice Cheryl Fox entered the Registered Program in April 2003 and is employed as a floater, moving from one classroom to another to meet the staffing needs of the program. Cheryl writes, “ I hope to successfully complete your program and walk away with the book knowledge to back up my instincts with children. I want to be educated in all the different spectrums of the child care profession.”  Cheryl will complete her Related Instruction in the summer of 2005 and her on-the-job training hours in the spring of 2006.

The ACPCC is located on Monroe St. in Middlebury.
