Students enrolled in Human Service/Early Childhood programs at high school technical centers in Vermont have the opportunity to earn Certificates of Proficiency. Students demonstrate their knowledge and skills in essential tasks, such as “engaging a child in conversation” and proper “hand washing.” Certificates are signed by the VCCICC Board President, the Commissioners of the Department of Labor and the Department for Children and Families, as well as the Governor.
If you are a director, teacher, or student in a Human Service/Early Childhood program at a technical center, please contact VCCICC for more information. We would be happy to meet with you and/or your students to provide more information about this unique opportunity.
